The Release:
30 Days of Letting Go
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just have to be willing to release.
Some seasons don’t end cleanly. You don’t get a clear sign or a closing ceremony. You just wake up one day still holding what God has already told you to put down. The loss. The version of your life that didn’t happen. The person you thought you’d still be by now. The bitterness you’ve been calling protection.
This devotional is for that woman. The one who knows she needs to let go but hasn’t fully been able to. The one who is ready to move forward but isn’t sure who she is on the other side. The one who wants to trust God’s promises but has been burned by hope before.
Thirty days. Three movements. One woman, becoming.
Every day includes everything your soul needs to move through it.
Seven elements per day. Scripture rooted in the theme, a question that asks something real, a declaration that calls you into who you are becoming, and space to go deeper on your own.
Old Testament scripture
New Testament reading
Psalm or Proverb to anchor the day
Reflection question with no easy answers
Declaration to speak aloud (new element)
Daily affirmation to carry with you
Closing prayer and journal prompt
A 30-day arc that takes you all the way through.
The Release doesn’t start with moving forward. It starts with releasing. Because you can’t step into what God has next while your hands are still full of what He’s already finished. These 30 days follow the natural arc every woman walks when she commits to real change.
Grief, forgiveness, control, identity, rest. Releasing everything you’ve been carrying that was never yours to hold forever.
New identity, new courage, new desires. Moving into who you are becoming without waiting until you feel fully ready.
God’s track record, His timing, peace that doesn’t make sense. Arriving in the new season with your hand in His.
You are ready to stop carrying what was never yours to hold forever.
A relationship, a career, a home, a chapter. Something has ended or is ending and you need language for what comes next.
You have been through something hard and you are ready, or trying to be ready, to grieve it fully and move through it with God.
You want to trust God again but trust has been hard. You need promises to hold onto when hope feels distant.
You are not sure what the next chapter looks like yet, but you know you cannot stay where you are. This is your first step.
Written for the woman who is somewhere in the middle of her becoming.

The Release was written for the woman who has survived something, or many things, and is standing at the threshold of what comes next, wondering if she has what it takes to walk through. She does. You do.
